YOUR CHILDREN ARE EVIL

YOUR CHILDREN ARE EVIL

The first day of winter conditioning for the Central Florida football team began with a statement by the strength coach: “Nothing against the returning guys, nothing against that Gasparilla Bowl and beating Florida that’s awesome, but you know what? It’s going to be a hell of a lot better when we’re out here hosting the AAC Championship.” This is a fairly universal practice, where teaching begins with humility, with admitting your shortcomings and need for improvement.

Satan, the great deceiver, appeals to vanity, appeals to the idea that you are without flaw. Real learning, in the Christian tradition, begins with the idea that man is flawed, that man is fallen, begins with the truth that man is inherently evil. The Apostle Paul said “all have sinned”. The doctrine of original sin holds that men inherit and are born with a taint of past sins, and need to work against their own sinful nature. “Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.”

A recent law promoted by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis prohibits any teaching in school or workplace that “An individual should feel discomfort, guilt, anguish, or any other form of psychological distress on account of his or her race, color, sex, or national origin.” In other words, you are not allowed as part of the teaching process to tell people they are born in sin because of their race. This criminalized act has two parts, an obviously good part, telling people they are born flawed, and a racial part, saying their flaws are somehow associated with their race.

Saying a race is flawed, is generally considered divisive and inciteful against that race. But teaching people how racial classification is perilous – teaching them how they are born with an evil nature toward this racial incitement and warfare – is a good thing. Teaching people that man is born vain, including a tendency towards sinful pride in his race, is teaching them the truth. But is teaching someone that members of their own race have been flawed in this way in the past – have been inclined to vanity – and depriving them of vanity associated with their race, and teaching them they need to improve on past sins associated with their race, helpful in social harmony or inciteful to war?

Generally teaching any kind of humility about self, reduces social conflict. And it does not preclude teaching people general or abstract morals. What if as part of that lesson, someone has to be shown examples that one race or another became prideful, and suffered war and downfall because of it? Can you teach German or Hutu history, without someone pointing out that another person in the class is German or Hutu? What if the humility someone needs to learn, has a great example to learn from in the past? The problem is not teaching one race or another that they are prone to vanity and violence, but teaching all races that they are prideful and prone to sin based on their race, just like their ancestors.

So yes, white children’s ancestors were born evil, and white children today are born with the same evil nature. And inciteful or not, it is a reality that white children, and children of all races today, are born inclined to the same sins as their ancestors. I am not sure what the right balance or teaching method is. But I know it is the design of Satan to teach children that they were born without sin. They need to be taught that they are sinful, and to guard against it, and the exact types of sins from the past they need to guard against. To forbid this is not just to suppress freedom of religion, it is to make the religion of Satan the official religion.
