Why You Shouldn’t Call The Police – Real Math

My friend is serving life without parole from age 21 for a crime that didn’t happen, after a trial where every witness lied. Nobody cares for two reasons, 1) they think it won’t it happen to them, and 2) they like that prosecutors can fix cases with lies, to achieve whatever popular outcome the local news has told people they should want. If police shoot a drug dealer and then plant a gun on him, that cleans up the streets and it won’t happen to you, right?

But there is a situation when you lose that lottery, and the popular acceptance of perjury matters to you. That is when someone close to you, a family member or loved one, is victimized by a crime. If you report the crime, or if you admit to being a witness or being on the scene at any time, the chance that you will be framed for the crime is too high relative to the chance you will get justice, to make it worthwhile to call the police.

Suppose your daughter is found dead in her car, or someone comes into your home and murders your wife. So you call the police, hoping they will find the killer and get justice. Let’s say the chance they will make an arrest and convict someone is 50%. The chance the person they convict is actually the killer is as little as 80%, making your chance of getting justice maybe 40%. It depends on the crime, it may be as little as 10%.

Anyone knows if you are on the scene, and especially if you are a family member or in a relationship with the person who died, you immediately become the prime suspect. What you don’t know is how easy and mainstream it is for police, prosecutors, newspapers, and the public mob, to turn this suspicion into a conviction regardless of the truth. You yourself may be one of the people who ignores that two cops Clarke and Rixey committed perjury 20 years later to accuse Kim Hallock of killing Chip Flynn, or who believes Sheila Green lied to give her brother the death penalty but you don’t want her punished for it. That will be your sister, or the cops when your boyfriend is killed.

Police faked video and DNA in my friend’s case, they let dangerous felons out of prison as a reward for lying in court. This I have documented without dispute, it is rock solid. The video of the dog walker who let the murderer into the building was deleted, his name is hidden, the timestamps on the video of the murderer entering the building were faked, the gloves with the victim’s blood disappeared, the sofa where the victim was shot vanished, the jailhouse witnesses swore things that straight contradict physical evidence. Nobody cares. The people who did this, State Attorney Phil Archer, Judge Jessica Recksiedler, got reelected. Six years later, most of the cops who lied still have their jobs and have paid no penalty, Detective Ben Sprague, Officer Jackson Athaide, CSI Alison Smolarek.

In my friend’s case, all it really took was for the CSI to lie on the stand about where she got one DNA swab. The public loves torturing cute white girls? The CSI takes a swab from Kim Hallock’s purse, and says she got it from Chip Flynn’s gun or the shoelace, the cop is a hero the public is happy. A cop mistook a bottle of solvent for GHB years ago, and as a result everyone in this town is willing to believe my friend drugged her boss to rob him when in reality he drugged her. That is how quickly it happens and how much the public loves it and how much cops are rewarded for total fabricated nonsense.

They never found JonBenet Ramsey’s killer. But the public is such a bloodthirsty mob, they did indict the parents for child abuse. Why child abuse in a murder case? Because they had no evidence the parents did anything, but still wanted to indict them. If CSI Alison Smolarek worked in Boulder, the Ramsey’s would be on death row, and the police would be regarded as heroes instead of fools. If you are so unfortunate that a loved one is ever murdered, run. That is when police are least useful and most dangerous to you, and you will find out your neighbors hate you and love to see you tortured and don’t care about lies.

When Cameron Todd Willingham’s daughters were killed because of a space heater, his neighbors changed their stories and lied that he seemed emotionally detached and did not try to rescue them, just like the cops who lied 20 years later about Kim Hallock. A jailhouse witness admitted he lied about Willingham confessing. It doesn’t matter, Willingham got the lethal injection. You know what has changed to stop that happening today? Nothing. It is even easier to get a false conviction because half the country will adamantly defend lying cops to prove they are true Republicans and get the tough-on-crime vote. I have a $100 bill if you can find a Republican elected official in Florida who cares that CSI Alison Smolarek faked evidence in my friend’s case. Your own neighbors will kill you for votes.

Are you willing to take a 5% or even 10% chance of spending your life in prison for a crime you didn’t do, in exchange for a 40% chance of getting revenge on the killer? If not, what does that mean in a practical sense? It means if your child goes missing, you should start working on your alibi instead of calling the police. If there really is foul play, most times the kid is already dead. If you drive to another city, and hope it takes as long as possible for them to find your dead kid, you may be able to prove you were in another city at the time investigators say your kid died.
